Golf
The Owl’s Nest Vineyard Course, designed by the renowned Geoffrey Cornish, offers 18 championship-caliber holes set amid the river valleys and mountain scenes of Cold Spring. Guests enjoy greens-fees discounts. Note: The Owl's Nest is currently under renovations, and is scheduled to reopen in spring 2025.
XC Skiing Center
In the winter, enjoy 11 kilometers of tracked and groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. Our trails wind through a quiet forest setting and across wide open terrain with stunning mountain views. Skis and snowshoes can be rented at the recreation center, where you can warm up with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate by the fire.
Nature Trails
Explore the resort on trails that take you past hemlock tree groves, ravines, and rock walls.
Recreation Center
Cold Spring's centerpiece houses a pool table and air hockey table, vending room, saunas, shower facilities, sitting room with fireplace and DVD rentals, a ping pong table, games, arts and crafts, movie viewing, a kitchen, and a fitness room. Organized activities change weekly; check with the front desk for the current schedule.
Swimming
Visiting during the summer with kids in tow? Cool down in the outdoor pool and kiddie pool. There's also a hot tub to relax your muscles. Open year-round, the indoor pool and hot tub are particularly appealing after a long day on the slopes, and are steps away from the sauna and shower facilities.
Tennis Courts
Our clay courts are well-maintained, allowing you to pretend you're in training for the French Open.
